AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X - Flagship DJ Player

The CDJ-3000X takes the club-standard CDJ-3000 and opens it to the internet. Built-in Wi-Fi gets the player online without a LAN cable, and an NFC touchpoint on the front panel logs you in by holding a phone running rekordbox for iOS/Android over the reader — no typing. From there, CloudDirectPlay pulls tracks straight from Dropbox or Google Drive, and Beatport Streaming and TIDAL are supported natively. The core performance parts moved forward too: a 10.1-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen showing up to 16 tracks at once, a wider jog-wheel tension range from light and dynamic to heavy and precise, PLAY and CUE buttons rebuilt for over 500,000 presses each, USB Type-C, and a new ESS Technology DAC on a redesigned power supply for a 115 dB S/N ratio. Gate Cue, Preview Hot Cue, Smart Cue and on-unit Playlist Edit round out the performance set, a locking power cable ships in the box, and every loaded track is cached to memory so it plays to the end even if the drive or the connection drops. The player is also compatible with OneLibrary.
