Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 - 4-Channel Professional DJ Mixer

The DJM-A9 is the club-standard four-channel mixer, and the step up from the DJM-900NXS2 is mostly about what you hear. ESS Technology 32-bit A/D converters sit on the channel inputs and 32-bit D/A converters on the master and booth outputs, so the booth monitors hear what the dancefloor hears. Playability moved forward too: wider spacing around the EQ knobs, brighter channel LEDs, isolators retuned for modern production, higher-grade channel faders and the third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader. Sound Color FX gain a world-first Center Lock that stops each knob dead at center, so you can push an effect to its limit without overshooting into the opposite parameter, and the 14 Beat FX now include Mobius, Triplet Filter and Triplet Roll on a new color display with X-Pad lighting. The mic section takes a phantom-powered condenser directly — a first on a DJ mixer — with Echo, Pitch and Megaphone effects and a Push To Talk button that can be kept out of the recording. Dual USB Type-B and Type-C ports host two computers at once for clean back-to-back changeovers, Bluetooth input routes to any channel, and two independent headphone outputs with their own cue and mix controls let two DJs monitor at the same time.

Odyssey VUDJMA9 - Dustproof and Watertight Case for the DJM-A9

The VUDJMA9 is the case for gigs where the weather or the load-in is the real threat. It is injection-moulded from high-strength polymer resin into a watertight, dust-proof shell, formatted specifically to the DJM-A9 rather than adapted from a universal box, and at 14 lb it is lighter than the plywood flight cases that offer comparable protection. Exterior is 23″ W × 23.5″ D × 8″ H.
