Introducing the ProX XC-PR05 5 Ft. Unbalanced RCA Male to 1/4" Male High Performance Audio Cable, the mid-length option in the XC-PR series, built for live sound setups, DJ rigs, and touring applications where an RCA output needs to connect cleanly to a TS 1/4" input with a bit more reach. Five feet gives you the flexibility to route signal between gear that isn't sitting right next to each other, without running excess cable that adds clutter and potential noise to your rig. When the 3 ft. run falls just short and a longer cable would be overkill, the ProX XC-PR05 is exactly what the setup calls for.

Signal Integrity First The ProX XC-PR05 uses a 20 AWG oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductor to maintain a clean, low-resistance signal path from end to end. OFC resists the oxidation that builds in standard copper over time, one of the most common causes of signal degradation in cables that see regular use. What goes in comes out clean, every time.

93% Braided Shield A 93% braided OFC copper compact shield wraps the full length of the ProX XC-PR05, blocking the electromagnetic interference that live environments generate constantly from lighting dimmers, power transformers, and other nearby electronics. The tight braid coverage keeps noise where it belongs: out of your signal chain.

Connector Quality Both ends of the ProX XC-PR05 feature gold and silver plated all-metal connectors. The RCA plug and the unbalanced 1/4" TS plug are solid metal construction, not plastic, which holds up to the repeated plugging and unplugging that working cables take every show. The plating improves conductivity at the contact points and resists corrosion over the life of the cable.

Built for the Grind The heavy duty flexible rubber jacket protects the ProX XC-PR05 through everything a working rig throws at it: coiling, packing, stepping, and pulling at angles that would kill a lesser cable. The compact cable diameter also reduces eddy currents, a real contributor to phase distortion and signal loss in cheaper cables that only gets worse with length. ProX addresses this through consistent weave tolerances across the full conductor design, maintaining accuracy and clarity across the entire 5 ft. run.

The Right Length for More Setups At 5 ft., the ProX XC-PR05 covers connections that 3 ft. can't quite reach without straining the plugs, while still keeping the run short enough to minimize signal loss. It fits naturally in setups where a media player, outboard processor, or source device sits a bit further from the mixer or amplifier input. The XC-PR series also comes in 3 ft., 10 ft., and 25 ft. options if your setup calls for a different run length.

Designed by Professionals. Built for Performers. Backed by 40 Years of Excellence.

ProX products are designed by a team of seasoned industry professionals who know firsthand what it means when power fails mid-show. Since 1984, ProX has built its reputation on one principle: every product must perform as hard as the professionals who depend on it. We listen to our customers, and their real-world feedback directly shapes the products we bring to market. The ProX XC-PR05 is a direct result of that collaboration. When you choose ProX, you are investing in four decades of hands-on expertise and a brand that has never stopped raising the standard for live performance gear.
