Wire Gauge and Conductors At 100 feet, conductor quality is not optional. The ProX XC-SQ100 runs 12 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors from connector to connector. OFC wire keeps resistance low across the entire length, maintaining clean, high-current power delivery from amplifier output to passive loudspeaker. Choosing the wrong cable at this length costs you signal. Choosing 12 AWG OFC keeps it.

Connectors The SpeakON twist-lock connector on one end locks in positively and holds firm regardless of cable tension or stage foot traffic. The opposite end carries an all-metal 1/4" TS-M connector with silver and gold plated contacts for excellent conductivity and reliable long-term performance. Both connectors are built to handle a touring workload across repeated connect, disconnect, coil, and carry cycles.

Jacket and Build The black PVC outer jacket is designed for exactly the kind of punishment a 100 ft. cable encounters: dragging across stage floors, getting stepped on, rolling over in cable ramps, and coiling up night after night.
