Core Construction The MB-8 is built around a high-density Polystyrene foam (EPS) core, the industry-standard material for professional mirror ball production. This closed-cell EPS structure is extremely lightweight while holding its spherical shape through the demands of stage heat, humidity, and repeated transport. It will not warp, crack, or distort over time, ensuring smooth balanced rotation and consistent light distribution across the full surface for the life of the product.

Glass Mirror Tiles The exterior of the MB-8 is covered with precision-cut, high-grade glass mirror tiles measuring 3/8" (10mm). Each tile is produced to a consistent thickness with clean square edges, allowing tight, uniform edge-to-edge placement across the entire sphere. Every tile carries a premium silvered backing that delivers sharp reflectivity, true color rendering, and clean beam definition.
