Construction and Conductors At 100 ft, conductor quality is not optional — it is everything. The XC-QQ100 is built with a 12 AWG conductor spec and 93% braided oxygen free copper (OFC) conductors. OFC cuts down on resistance and oxidation, and 12 AWG keeps that resistance low even across a full 100 ft run. The result is a cable that preserves signal integrity from one end to the other without rolloff or tone loss.

Connectors Both ends terminate in a 1/4" TS male connector with gold and silver plated contacts. The plating resists corrosion and keeps contact resistance stable over years of real use. The tough metal and plastic chassis is built for the kind of repetitive connect and disconnect cycles that working cables deal with every gig.

Signal Path This is an unbalanced, passive speaker cable. It carries speaker level signal from a power amplifier output to a passive speaker or cabinet. It is not an instrument cable. The 12 AWG gauge is the correct spec for that application, keeping impedance low and power transfer efficient even at 100 ft.
