Construction and Conductors The XC-QQ25 is built around a heavy duty 12 AWG conductor spec with 93% braided oxygen free copper (OFC) conductors. OFC matters because it cuts down on resistance and oxidation over time, which means less signal degradation and better tone preservation over the life of the cable. At 12 AWG, this cable handles the current demands of passive speaker loads without breaking a sweat.

Connectors Both ends terminate in a 1/4" TS male connector with gold and silver plated contacts. The plating improves conductivity and helps resist corrosion, so every connection stays solid even after years of use and countless gig cycles. The chassis is built tough to handle repeated plug and unplug cycles in the field.

Signal Path This is an unbalanced, passive speaker cable carrying a low impedance signal from your amplifier output to your speaker or cabinet. It is not an instrument cable. The 12 AWG gauge is specifically sized for speaker level signal, keeping impedance low and power transfer efficient across the full 25 ft run.
