Purpose and Function The ProX MLTLS10FT lowering set is engineered to attach smaller lighting devices deeper into the MLT truss structure, positioning them below the central tube without interference from the lower chord tubes. This is a practical solution for professionals who need precise vertical placement of fixtures within the truss bay, particularly when fixture size or beam angle requires a lower mounting position inside the system.

4-Position Height Adjustment The lowering set offers four distinct adjustable height positions, giving riggers the flexibility to match the mount depth to the specific size of the lamp or fixture being installed. Height is set during installation using the included hardware, and all connections between the truss and the lowering set must be engaged for proper use.

Load Capacity This lowering set is rated for a maximum distributed load of 210 kg, with a maximum single point load of 70 kg at the third points. These are confirmed HOF specifications. All devices mounted on the lowering set must be independently secured with safety cables as required by applicable regulations.

Fastening and Safety Hardware The lowering set is fixed below the central tube of the MLT crossbar in Step 1, with height adjusted in Step 2. Rip Lock nuts on the mounting screws are tightened to 50 kN, with a maximum of 70 kN. When hexagon nuts are used for all connections, no additional safety is required. When wing nuts are the only fastening method used, safety cables are required to additionally secure the lowering set. All nuts and bolts must be confirmed tight before use, and the unit must not be used if any damage is present.
